Cleveland Clinical Research Nurse Job Cleveland Clinic Main Campus & Family Health Centers

Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Coordinator, Research Studies, will coordinate and monitor several clinical research projects for a principal investigator. Minimum Qualifications Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio. Preferred qualifications include Registered Nurse with at least three years research coordinator experience with phlebotomy and IV drug administration experience. Knowledge and understanding of research principles and data analysis, including: basic accounting skills in order to monitor study expenditures, computer skills for data entry and retrieval sufficient to fulfill study requirements, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good analytical skills, 24 hour beeper availability may be required, knowledge of clinical drug trials a plus. Requires a full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye/hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires working under stressful condition or working irregular hours. Requires some exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids.
