Assistant Finance Manager, Business Planning & Analysis
Our client is an US MNC and they are a leading life science and high technology company. Their chemical and biochemical products and kits are used in scientific research, biotechnology and pharmaceutical developments and in the diagnosis of diseases.
Job Requirements
• Degree in Finance / Accountancy or related discipline
• Singaporeans or PRs preferred
• Minimum 6-8 years of experience required
• Strong finance analysis and planning skills
• SAP experience
• Exposure to dynamic working environment with an outgoing character and energetic approach
• An excellent problem solver and creative thinker with strong follow-through skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
Job Duties
* Report and analyze weekly/monthly sales performance against forecasts, budgets and prior year at the business unit level and geographical level.
* Work with sales in reporting on monthly sales highlights and analyzing the risk and opportunities in achieving the sales and operating income targets.
* Report and analyze controllable costs to achieve operating income targets.
* Develop business unit dashboards, metrics & market trends.
* Review the preparation of the annual sales budget & quarterly sales forecast submitted by the BU managers.
* Support & Business Partner with cross-functional departments, including Sales & Marketing, Operations in the following aspects:
- Perform Business Analytical review, interpret variance analysis and provide / recommend business actions.
- Dealers & customers performance tracking & analysis
- Review Agreement with customers on rebate/reward programme
- Internal study of product price elasticity & competitive landscape analysis.
- Price review & discount management for catalog products.
- Inventory review & promotional activities on slow-moving items.
* Ad hoc projects
- Investment appraisals for expansion plans
- Develop scenario & models for decision making
