Finance Head
Our client, a leading player in their industry is seeking for a Finance Head to leading the dynamic team.
Position Summary:
Reporting to the CFO, this position will lead the finance team for the local operation. This position is responsible for strategic and business leadership, and chartered with providing business insight and analysis to help in business decision making. The position will also drive the accounting and decision support for businesses across all phases of strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and business reviews. You will also be involved in driving business performance through financial metrics and set the direction for corrective actions, as well as escalating issues to the management as necessary. In addition, you will be a key contributor in leading cross regional financial processes and strategy planning processes.
The Role:
* Responsible for the financial accounting activities of the organization
* Ensuring the financial processes and systems are effective to enable the preparation of reasonably accurate financial statement. To review and recommend measures for continous improvement in internal controls and business processes
* To lead strategic review and diagnosis of improvement areas by designing financial, accounting and costing processes, policies, frameworks and management reporting
* To identify and analyse KPIs and develop measurements through financial metrics to drive business performance
* Provide guidance on the implementation and updates to the financial policies and procedures
The Pre-Requisities:
* Qualified CPA with degree in Accounting, or with professional accountancy qualifications such as ACCA
* 10 years of experience in accounting of which minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial planning, strategic planning and business management in similar capacity
* Good strategic mindset and have a proven track record of bringing innovative thinking to problem solving and business analysis. Strong in financial analysis with good knowledge of accounting regulations
* Work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
* Possess excellent leadership, interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills and possess the confidence to deal comfortably with senior leadership
* Ability to work within tight deadlines
